2010-11 Upper Deck Series One Pack Break - The Cards

As detailed in my previous post, here are scans of some of the cards from the packs bought earlier today.

I really like what they did with the checklists featuring three key players from each of the teams who played for the cup last season.

All in all, I like the look of the cards a whole lot more now that I have seen them in person.  The scans put out by UD a few months ago just did not do them any justice at all.

2010-11 Upper Deck Series One Pack Break

Stopped by my LCS early today while out and was greeted by two fresh boxes of 2010-11 Upper Deck Series One!  I did not have a ton of cash on hand, but was able to land a few packs (ok 12 packs which was about $40).

Two Young Guns, a Hockey Heroes insert card (Steve Yzerman), jersey card (Nick Backstrom - Caps), and some nice base cards.

I will scan a few of the cards pulled shortly.

Recent Additions to the Collection!

Here are some recent additions to my collection which I though were worth sharing...

One of the most beautiful patch cards I have ever seen...the white part of the Gilmour patch is acually more of a dull yellow...so nice!

I am not much of a football card collector, but these two were included in a large lot I picked up (the majority of which I flipped).  These two caught my attention and I just could not bear to part with them...

In person Biron, Miller and Hasek autos sent to me from a guy as a "bonus" to a lot of cards I won...not a bad bonus.

Carey Price 2010-11 Certified Game Used card pulled from a pack I purchased am my LCS the other day.  It is numbered 19/25!



Won this for a couple of bucks on eBay...I am a die-hard Washington Capitals Fan, and it was a great chance to pick up a nice on-card auto of one of the team's young d-men....

Weeks have gone bye-bye...

and nothing new on this lame ass blog???  Why???  Lets see:

4. Me selling WAY TOO many cards on eBay which then takes up way too much of my time sending out...
5. Sick me...still...

Oh yeah, and trying to spend time to find a job in this SHIT market...

All of this equals SQUAT time for blogging...
